There are usually several major bicycle racing events planned.

Shenandoah Time Trial: Race against the clock Page County style at this exciting first-year event! This is a full 40-K course that takes you from downtown Shenandoah up into the hollow and back again.

Tour of Page County: The Tour of Page County is Page Valley Cycling's marque event, attracting the top amateur cyclists from through the Mid-Atlantic region.

Luray Caverns CX: Cyclocross is a Fall/Winter off-road bicycle racing discipline that's fun for spectators and participants alike! Located at the Luray Valley Museum adjacent to Luray Caverns. You can find more information on these events at www.pagevalleycycling.com.

The Luray Triathlon: Set in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Luray Triathlon offers two exciting distances: sprint and international. After a swim in Lake Arrowhead, athletes bike the scenic yet challenging bike route along the woods and farms of the Shenandoah Valley then finish up with an out and back run on the paved roads of Page County.

Luray Hawksbill Greenway: For those who are not quite ready for long distance cycling, bring your bike and enjoy a ride along our award winning Hawksbill Greenway.

But whatever you choose to do, save some time to stop by Shenandoah Moon and pick up a remembrance of your visit.
