Now that winter is here, if lots of anything yukky falls from the sky, such as snow, ice, or sleet, please call first. It's not worth risking life and limb -- yours or ours -- just so you can get a few more amazing beads or a fabulous accessory. We've resumed our WINTER HOURS -- Fridays & Saturdays from 10am - 5pm, or by chance (Thursdays or Sundays mostly) or appointment. Of course, we're available anytime you want to do a private party or class!
Read on to learn more about a great book on creativity,The Spark - Igniting the Creative Fire That Lives Within Us All. Check out our winter line-up of classes, and our HOT! and NEW! products. And bring in your favorite jewelry catalog and get $5 off any item worth $20 or more (see details below).
Next month we'll write about art quilting and the Vinescapes quilt exhibit by Fiber Artists at Loose Ends that is coming to Luray in the Spring! I wish you all a blessed and creative year!

"The Spark" - a Cutting-Edge Perspective on Creativity
Did you ever read a book that was so good you couldn't wait to tell everyone you knew about it? That's how I feel about "The Spark!"
This book chronicles the journey of frustrated businessman Frank Castle, who rediscovered the passion he had for his career as a sports agent. Through his journey which involved a stint with Cirque du Soleil's creative team, Frank discovers that everyone is creative, but it's up to each person to tap into his or her own creative force. Reading about how his insights unfolded was fascinating and inspired me.
You don't have to be an artist to benefit from creativity. Today's business managers value creativity and innovation for their problem-solving, confidence-boosting, and stress relieving benefits. Check out "The Spark - Igniting the Creative Fire That Lives Within Us All", by Lyn Heward and John U. Bacon for a good book that might just get your creative juices flowing!
